Michele Thrane is a printmaker and mixed-media artist, who works in a studio in the northwest Chicago suburbs. 

She exhibits in the Chicago area, including a solo exhibit at the Fermilab Art Gallery in December 2015.   Her work is also shown nationally, including several exhibits at the International Encaustic Conference in Provincetown.

She is a member of FUSEDChicago, an encaustic artists’ group.

She has a B.F.A. from Ohio State University.
